Dryer was not heating. It is sitting in garage right now. Found open heating element. Replaced it with truck stock and confirmed proper operation. Ensured thermostats are closed as well, but unable to test dryer since it is not hooked up to power. Cleaned dryer vent as well. Vent is connected to speed queen dryer. Air flow 11.6 mph after cleaning. Installed new vent hose and air flow increased to 17.2 mph. ; used 1 WP3387747 (HEATING ELEMENT) from stock

Unit making a scraping noise. Found end pieces of clothes strings stuck on front bulkhead. Removed these. Also noted that one of the grey slides is worn half way through. Replaced slides. Dryer does still make a slight scraping noise. This appears to be from wear on the drum. Sanded it with sand paper which improved it slightly.
