Dryer not starting. Unit hums but will not turn. Only able to turn drum one way by hand. Found sock in blower wheel and excessive lint. Removed lint and sock. Confirmed that unit is now running correctly and heats. A dryer vent can also be installed as a separate job. It would include an exposed solid metal vent behind the dryer going through two shelves and Sheetrock. Venting would continue through attic and end in a soffit vent.

"Customer reports that washer is frequently out of balance, especially with small and medium loads. Water is in balance ring. Suspension rods work correctly. Unit is level. Put clothes in unit and selected rinse and spin. When unit started to spin it ramped up quickly and was out of balance. After about 5 seconds unit started to add water. This is not normal behavior and points to faulty logic on control board. Diagnosed failed control board. Unit also gives E3 error codes frequently.
