Dependable Appliance Repair is seeking a highly motivated technician to join our growing team in Eastern NC. We’re passionate about delivering top-tier service — solving real problems for great customers and doing it right the first time.
I’m currently the sole technician and owner. As the business grows, there’s more than enough work and resources to share this rewarding field with someone eager to learn, grow, and take pride in their craft. This is a great long-term opportunity with potential for future leadership or management.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair major home appliances in customers' homes (washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, etc.)
- Provide professional, respectful, and efficient service
- Use provided software and tools to manage jobs and communicate with customers
- Quote repairs clearly and collect payment at time of service
- Maintain company-supplied vehicle and tools in good working condition
Service Area
We serve customers within a 30-mile radius of Grifton, NC — including Greenville, Washington, Kinston, Bethel, and New Bern. You’ll start and end your day from home and may be dispatched anywhere within our territory. We work Monday through Friday, with weekends off.

What We're Looking For
Required
- Clean driving record
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Age 18+
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and maneuver up to 250 lbs occasionally (with appliance dolly)
- Technical aptitude or strong desire to learn
- Willingness to obtain CFC certification (refrigerant license)

Pay Structure
Training pay starts at $20/hour and increases to $25/hour plus commission once training is complete. The length of training depends on your experience and performance — it may be around 1 month for a very experienced technician and up to 6 months if needed. Commission structure is still being developed but will offer significant earning potential for motivated and honest technicians. As my first hire, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape how we grow.
