Unit unplugged on arrival. Plugged it in and unit started draining but would not enter diagnostic mode or respond to pressing start. Held start button for several seconds and drain pump turned off. Put it in diagnostic mode and found error codes F8E1, F2E1. Noticed that plumbing is backwards so hot and cold are hooked up to the wrong ports. Good water flow for each valve in diagnostic mode. Customer reports that unit is not cooling. Ice maker not working for at least a year. Made ice slow and then quit all together. First noticed that it was not cooling about 2 weeks ago on both sides and food was spoiling. Unit was unplugged when I arrived. Compressor turned on when unit was plugged in. Low side pressure with compressor running is 15 psig. When unplugging unit the pressure stays the same. Diagnosed failed compressor. Unit was manufactured in 2021-04 so it would still be covered under LG warranty for compressor. Ice maker problem appears to be unrelated to problem cooling and will not be covered under LG warranty. Checked thermistors for fresh food and freezer, all testing within specifications. Frost pattern on freezer evaporator signals a sealed system failure. Compressor is extremely hot to touch. Windings on compressor on all 3 are about 11.5 +/- 10%. Power cycled fridge, compressor tried turning on after ~10 minutes and didnt stay on. Inverter board tries running compressor but doesnt stay running. Compressor runs for 5 seconds before stopping. Compressor pulling 1.02 amps. Failed compressor. Customer reports hot water not coming in. Found that in eco mode both water valves actuate, there is hot water but coming out like warm since its mixing both. Also noticed that in heavy duty per tech sheet, it will only activate one valve. There is hot water to unit and dispensing. Temperature selector switch does work as well. Normal Eco mode is over riding hot selection. Mentioned to customer to use unit as it is and if any other issues occur to let us know.

Customer reports washer wont rinse. Washer has a f8e1 error code. No fill / long fill error code. Both pressures on each side seem to be fine, cold side seems weak.Cold water side squeaks when turning on. Ran rinse and spin cycle and it does go through cycle. Water intermittently shuts on and off during a normal cycle. Ran automatic test cycle and cycled through all the steps. Agitates and spins. Suspect intermittently failing water valves. Customer reports washer not cycling through after filling. Error code f9e1 long drain. Customer forced open door since it was locked, breaking strike and door lock. Unable to test motor since door wont lock. Can occasionally hear the washer trying to lock but it cant. Only saved error is the f9e1, in diagnostic mode cant force run drain pump/motor. No cycle starts as when you try to it just stays in sending mode. Drain pump ohms fine. Would need to fix door lock issue before able to confirm any other diagnosis of unit.

Customer reports that the LF burner is on high all the time. Upon stress testing burner, the burner does scale up in heat and the thermostat is activating, ie: sending the correct temperature output and turning off heat once a temperature is hot. The tests on the burner itself also fell within spec, lower than 150 degrees, tested open and higher tested 0. No reason to suspect any failed components. All burners work as should.

Customer reports smoke coming from unit one plugged in. Upon arrival checked wiring of power cord and signs of charring or burnt wires. Customer reports that dishwasher started and did not wash dishes. There was water sitting in the bottom. No errors stored, but noted that the last wash showed that the ending water temp was 75F instead of target of 145F. Water fills, circulates, and drains in test mode. Heater comes on correctly. Customer reports leaking coming from corner of dishwasher. No error codes saved to control. Ran dishwasher for about 20 minutes. No leaks. Checked for hairline cracks in drain pump or wash motor. None found. Checked door seals and gaskets, all working order. Suspect when customer ran cycle, dishes were situated in a position where it was pushing water over the gasket. Told customer to run cycle with dishwasher half full, if leaks would recommend replacing door gasket. Dishwasher is in functioning and operating condition otherwise.

Dishwasher is flashing normal light, when power cycled drain pump runs for a little then turns off. Sensing water leakage somewhere. Found that water valve isnt leaking. Tested float switch and overflow switch both testing 0.0, Water valve tested at 23 ohms. Float switch at main control has 4.9 vdc from pin 2-4 on cn4. Water doesnt enter dishwasher when powers off. Failed control board as its interpreting water leaking into system, when there isnt. Customer opted to replace unit.

Customer reports d80 code/d90 code. Code related to flow sense on dryer detecting a blockage of 80-100% of the vent. Dryer vent goes straight down under house. Its vented fine. Unable to recreate issue. Flow sense bars are not illuminated as of moment. So vent is clear. Manually checked vent from dryer to floor, and has little lint buildup but does have some. Ran diagnostic test cycle and all sensors, motor, and heating element in working functioning condition. No issues found with dryer.
