Manufacturer needs verification before they can replace it. Sealed system work has been done on the unit as it has access valves and a new filter dryer. Low side pressure is 22 in. Hg indicative of a high side leak assuming it was charged correctly. I recommend replacing the refrigerator.

Checked thermistor resistance, is all within spec forced , harvest, the icemaker, which did all functions perfectly. Harvest, fill, and heater all the work. Checked error codes on icemaker e0 apparent which means functionality of icemaker is perfect. Told customer that with the first harvest they might start getting ice so just wait a few hours to see if it will harvest on its own. Its not suspect issue with icemaker circuit/control board.

Customer reports that unit stopped cooling while they were gone and they came home to a warm fridge and freezer. Everything in the freezer had thawed. Now freezer temp 8f and refrigerator 34. Found first 3 passes of evaporator frosted over. First part of condenser coil is very hot to the touch. Compressor extremely hot to the touch. Diagnosed sealed system failure, most likely refrigerant leak. Evaporator is most likely cause and is no longer available. Did notice that right freezer drawer closer is not working so it would be easy for drawer to be open slightly on that side. Recommend replacing refrigerator due to unavailability of parts. Even if parts were available the repair would likely not be economical for this age of refrigerator. Customer elected charge/sealed system diagnostics. Low side pressure 2 psig. Equalized pressure 25 psig. Removed old refrigerant, vacuum to 29. 5 in. Hg. Charged with 4. 5 oz of r134a. Low side pressure 8 psig. Added dye.

Ee rf code on freezer, code did reset after plugging out the fan and replacing it in oddly enough. Code related to miscommunication of refrigerator fan to pcb for longer than 65 seconds. Voltage to the motors is fine. Failed ff motor. Recommend replacing console as related to service bulletin. Noise customer heard was most likely due to ice on the fan, hence why the noise would stop as they would open the door.

Small leak coming from around sump , the gasket was folded on itself, reseated it, watched for about 15 minutes to see if a leak would appear. No leak found after resetting the sump. Told customer to just keep an eye out just in case. Might have to replace sump if leak continues.
