Customer reports error code for oven temperature. They tried to replace oven sensor but were unable to since screw broke off and wires wouldnt pull out through oven. Found sensor in spec. Error for runaway temperature. Set oven to 170F and found that broil element did not turn off after reaching temp. It continued to pull 8 amps even though board was receiving temp of over 200 from sensor on smarthq app. Diagnosed failed control board. Oven also had error stored for keypad 80 times. Customer reports that error often comes up when opening oven door and they think it is from the steam. Offered touchpad replacement but customer deferred. Meat probe does not work. Verified that it does have connection through to control board. I do not have specs for resistance of this probe. Customer reports that they did buy a new thermometer. New control board will likely fix this problem. Oven light does not come on. Verified that light bulb is good. Found no voltage from control board to oven light. Customer reports water shooting from top of door when pulling water. Found cracked line. Unable to pull line through. Finally pulled line through, fixed cracked line. Ensured proper function.

Customer reports that unit didnt bake cookies correctly. Then she started checking temperatures with oven thermometer and found that temperatures were not as high as set in both ovens.Found top bake igniter drawing 2.8 amps and lower igniter drawing 3.1 amps. Lower oven did ignite after 1-2 minutes. Both igniters are weak and need to be replaced. Customer noted that top burners do not adjust flame when moving knobs. Simmer also does not work on some burners. Cleaned front left orifice and inner simmer function now works. Cleaned front right and rear right burners. Noted improvement in both. Flame height doesnt appear to adjust quickly especially during the higher settings. Installed new igniters and confirmed proper operation. ; used 2 5303935066 (IGNITER,OVEN) from stock

Freezer temp -1F and refrigerator temp 33F on arrival. All service tests are working correctly. No frost observed on bottom part of coil. No problems noted.

Customer reports that microwave runs but does not heat. Found unit pulling 5 amps and making a loud humming noise when running. Checked diode which measures 5 volts in series with 9 volt battery and open when reversing polarity. Found magnetron grounded, measures 0.3 ohms between terminals and 106 ohms to case from either terminal. Bad smell noted after running microwave. Very small pits noted on wave guide. Recommend replacing unit due to pitting on wave guide.

Customer reports that unit hasnt been cooling in fresh food section. He noticed excessive frost on coils in bottom of evaporator in freezer. It has been cooling very well in freezer. He defrosted it and then fresh food cooled for a couple of days. Now the unit has been unplugged for a couple of weeks. Noted that unit left compressor on when entering test mode the first time. Found that control board can do a forced defrost when bypassing defrost thermostat. Heating element drawing 4 amps. Suspect failed control board or failed defrost thermostat causing unit not to defrost. Will come back after unit has been running for several days.

Customer reports breaker tripping when microwave is turned on. Noticed it trips after less than a second of running. Trips almost immediately after hitting start. 120V at outlet, unable to check amperage pulled as its shutting off immediately. Diagnosed failed door latches and high voltage fuse. Service pointer for repair as it occurred before with this model (ck1903). Parts ordered are from the service pointer.

Customer reports washer fills with water but doesnt drain. Error codes found: 5c (drain error), UB(unbalanced load), dc/dc1 (both door lock related codes). Drain pump will not activate in diagnostic mode. Drain pump has voltage, .6-.12 amp draw when force running drain pump. Can also hear pump trying to run. Diagnosed failed drain pump.

Customer reported f7e7/f7e1 error again. Found cable burned off at capacitor again. Cut further up the wire, and respaded with electrical tape for insulation. Ran automatic test cycle to ensure functionality of all parts. Also ran a quick cycle to see if it would cycle appropriately. Ensured proper operation after repair. Recommended to customer that if issue happens again would need to replace power harness.

Customer reports leaking. F8E4 - float switch / overfill. FAE2 - vent wax motor electrical problem. F8E2 - water inlet valve electrical problem. All wiring seems perfectly fine. Checked windings on motor and vent wax. Suspect failing water inlet valve as the overfill code tripped and float switch sensor tripped. Float switch found to be functioning correctly, water inlet seems to also be working, no cracking on manifold. Vent wax motor is also working appropriately/ohms out as it should. With all the errors and each component functioning as it should, recommend replacing control. Recommended to try running a cycle, and seing if successful run on cycle would clear codes.
